Our community

In line with our club’s mission, Nomads actively promote rugby to every skill level and age group in the Philippines. We host games, provide training, facilitate activities, work with other clubs, and encourage people to learn more about rugby. We aim to be the go-to club for anyone searching on how to get involved in rugby.

MANILA 10S

Presented by the Manila Nomads, The Manila 10s was the first-ever rugby tournament held in the Philippines and is dubbed by ESPN as the best social rugby tournament in the world. The tournament started in 1989, and today, it is still the premier rugby tournament in the country.

Aside from playing rugby, we also foster a fun and friendly environment for members to socialize and network by holding regular events, activities, and socials. We offer a place for everyone, both locals and expats, to bond around the sport of rugby.

NOMADS DAY

To celebrates the oldest derby in the Philippines, we compete against our rivals, the Alabang Eagles, across all three grades—the women’s team and the two men’s teams—while the entire rugby community dresses up in race day theme and enjoys a buffet, BBQ, and open bar.

NOMADS LOCK IN

To forge a strong bond among our players, we hold a Lock In session towards the end of the season when we revisit our on-field indiscretions and offenders contribute appropriate compensation to the session for the benefit of the club.

SOCIALS & AFTER PARTIES

To keep the community spirit going, we hold regular club socials and after parties where club members celebrate after each game, bond and get to know each other better, and share updates and announcements regarding club activities and initiatives.
